Chris Lathrop, a native of Montrose PA, has been painting since 1993. Her works depict the rural countryside of Northeast PA and other areas of the US, Australia and Canada.



EDUCATION:
A.S. in Liberal Studies, Keystone College, 1988. Additional credits from Luzerne College and Penn State University. Workshops and classes in Pastels, Greeting Cards, watercolors, oils and acrylics. Studied under Sue Hand, Martha Sampson, Raquel Sweeny, Graydon Mayer, Anna Maria Zettlemoyer, Cheryl Coleman and others. Attended watercolor workshops in West Virginia and Georgia, as well as Nova Scotia in Canada, and numerous ones in Pennsylvania.
